“White line” è un’opera che riflette sul concetto di rispetto, nella correlazione tra l’essere umano e lo spazio che lo ospita. Una fabbrica abbandonata, luogo ormai fatiscente e nel quale la natura ha finalmente ripreso il sopravvento dopo anni di utilizzo, rappresenta il nostro pianeta, che malgrado millenni di sfruttamento riesce comunque a rigenerarsi e a sopravvivere. La performance si svolge in questo ambiente e vede l’artista percorrerlo lentamente, a piedi nudi, servendosi di un rotolo di carta bianca, sul quale cammina e che subito dopo raccoglie, avvolgendolo con cura. La carta pallida e pulita, in contrasto con i calcinacci e la trascuratezza dello sfondo, viene usata come un tappeto che permette all’uomo di passare in maniera silenziosa e discreta, senza intaccare la dignità del luogo che lo ospita, senza lasciare alcuna traccia.

“White line” is a work that reflects on the concept of respect, in the correlation between the human being and the space that hosts him. An abandoned factory, a place now dilapidated and in which nature has finally regained the upper hand after years of use, represents our planet, which despite millennia of exploitation still manages to regenerate and survive. The performance takes place in this environment and sees the artist walk through it slowly, barefoot, using a roll of white paper, which he walks on and immediately picks up, wrapping it carefully. The pale and clean paper, in contrast with the rubble and the neglect of the background, is used as a carpet that allows the man to pass silently and discreetly, without affecting the dignity of the place that hosts him, without leaving any trace.
